The Black Sea is a marginal sea of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by Europe and Asia. The green, mountainous Crimean Peninsula is a popular beach destination in Eastern Europe. The coast of this region is dotted with clusters of villages hemmed in by the sea on one side and thickly forested rolling mountains on the other.
Some of the best beaches in the Black Sea region can be found along its coastline. The sandy beaches tend to be small, but that’s because the land is lush and green, and the dairy products are wonderful because cows eat lush green grass. Also, the Black Sea is quite fantastically deep, which accounts in part for its chilly temperature.
