Anyone who goes to Hana should see Maui’s only black sand beach, which is called Why-a-napa-napa and means “shimmering waters.” The jet-black lava rocks that cover the landscape are a reminder of the islands’ volcanic origins.

Small gravels and particles of lava that have been eroded, worn down, and shaped by the ocean for hundreds of years make up the beach itself. The bay has black cliffs, verdant trees, a vibrant blue sea, and a deep blue sky. With all these pink colors this made a perfect wallpaper!
